The weathered vinyl floor tiles in this sales office were painful to the eyes to all who worked here. Replacing the floor blossomed into recreating & reconfiguring to the needs of the people working here. They needed less cubicles & a conference space. So I converted 2 cubicles to a conversation spot and had 2 desks custom made with wood and Formica tops. New flatscreen TV’s modernize the technology for meetings etc. New conference table and chairs for the new public space equipped w/locking cabinet to keep paperwork private. Some of the “oak” in the conference room (window sills, woodwork & kitchenette) was eliminated by painting a warm teal color & soft stone color. The cubicle dividers were reconfigured and redone with decorative fabric and paneling. Now it’s more conducive for creative collaborations!
