SpaceLift’s motto is “it’s not rocket science”!!  There are a lot of RIGHT ways to decorate, you just have to PICK ONE! Your “SPACE” is important to you…it encompasses you and your family, it’s where you spend your free time, it’s where you spend your hard earned money. Not only is your home decor important, but your work environment also requires inspiration!  Do your surroundings foster or hinder your creativity and productivity?

Stephanie Carpenter, Owner

Originally from New Philadelphia (Ohio), I am a 1988 New Philadelphia High School Graduate.  I also attended Wittenberg University (2 years) and Bowling Green State University (2 years) and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a Marketing emphasis.

As far as my professional career beyond CEO of the Home, my professional design experience began with designing photo shoots for an Amish furniture company. We worked so well together that they asked me to design two of their furniture showrooms at Highpoint, North Carolina’s International furniture market, highpointmarket.org. What an amazing display of showrooms and exhibits! We were right down the hall from “Candice Olsen” from HGTV!

My husband John and I have grown up in the commercial printing business where I have gained experience with website design direction, catalog and print layouts, marketing concepts/campaigns, social media posts & photo shoots. John has graciously recommended my design talents to his business network over the years (of which I am very grateful!).

During the 2020 pandemic, Andreas Furniture of Sugarcreek OH approached me to join their Display Team. Creating displays in an extremely dynamic business was such a privilege and so much fun. The company experienced a record sales year which means their showroom displays changed on a daily basis! My responsibilities included replacing sold artwork, lighting, furniture accents, mirrors & accessories while reworking room layouts. In the process, I became a “professional picture hanger” and have added that to my SpaceLift repertoire.

In 2021, John and I relocated to Columbus after our kids graduated from college. I am excited to launch SpaceLift Designs in Columbus and incorporate my personal experience and true love of decorating to a new geographical area and clientele.
