The black and white lamp in the dresser shot inspired the theme for this elegant bedroom set. The black drapes made for a simple look, but my plan had to change on the fly!  The artwork was supposed to go above the bed and the small sconce over the nightstand, but the shape of the picture and height of the headboard made the photo too vertical. So I moved the artwork over the nightstand and had the sconce digitally imaged and repeated above the bed! Again, the magic of digital imaging thanks to the photographer!! The below glam shot of the dresser turned out great with a unique lamp and houndstooth throw (which I bought after the shoot for my own red/black room).

When planning for this shot, I only got to see an unfinished nightstand and their old brochure. Making something out of nothing is my favorite thing to do!!
