Every spring my husband and I would get the itch to look at houses. Every spring, we would decide to stay put. After several years of “researching then remodeling” the last possible improvement we could do to the house was our kitchen. We would have rather moved than remodeled it. But our faith was restored when we found a contractor that took care of everything for us, start to finish. In the past, I tried the “general contractor” role and it only cost us many arguments and strife. John just didn’t understand when I told him the project was taking a few more days or weeks, like it was my fault or something. “Things change, it’s just how it is with construction, & that’s just what they told me” doesn’t go over very well with him!

Long story short, here is the before and after of our 2012 renovation.
