My New Concepts for Furniture Shoots:

My job with the furniture company was to orchestrate the design of each photo from start to finish. These photos would be used in their yearly catalog and website. I was given wood samples and if I was lucky got to see a finished piece of furniture in the wood shop for inspiration!! I took into consideration many factors in planning the photos. Jim Celuch at Celuch Creative was great to work with and brought my ideas to life!

Fresh Ideas that I implemented: 

#1:  Standardize the bedding on the individual photos to creative uniform appearance.

#2: Digitally imaged windows, doors & backgrounds…The reason digital images work in certain cases is because it is not always possible to find a location on site to photograph the furniture. Luckily the photographer they worked with was well versed in graphics, web and everything digital.

#3: Glamour shot of an individual piece… Clients hand craft this gorgeous furniture, why take just one picture of it???!!! Let’s do a shot of the bedroom suite and then select an individual piece of furniture that we can shoot with accessories!!

These three ideas = happy customers!!!
